On the Day of Pentecost, in the year A.D. 33, the Holy Spirit fell upon the apostles. A gospel sermon was preached by Peter where 3,000 people were baptized and added to the Lord's Church. Since that day, independent congregations sought to stay with the Bible only, casting aside creeds and man-made traditions. The church of Christ at Sycamore Chapel is another congregation of the Lord's Church that follows the Bible only as its guide.
Jesus Christ is the Head of the Church and our Guide. We speak where the Bible speaks and are silent where it is silent.
